Kirby Tan and his partner, David Weng, opened their first authentic Malaysian Restaurant, House of Malaysia, at 242 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ 07024 (201-363-8833). They were recently  invited for a cooking demonstration at Paramus Bloomingdales.  On December 11th, they coordinated a successful dinner fundraiser with the Edison Metro Lion’s Club of NJ to benefit the victims of the Haiyan Typhoon in the Philippines. 

NJCACC members are welcome with a 10% discount plus a free bubble drink when they  identify their membership affiliation to Kirby Tan and David Weng.

Twelve business groups, advocacy organizations, associations, local and bi-national chambers of commerce in NJ hosted the 1st Annual NJ Immigrant Entrepreneur Award (NJIEA) Program <http://njieawards.org/wp/>  at the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship, part of Fairleigh Dickinson University's Silberman College of Business.

The NJIEAwards honored ten first-generation immigrant business leaders for their success in helping their local New Jersey communities thrive.

John T Lau, President of Appliedinfo Partners, Somerset received the Albert Einstein Award for Innovation sponsored by Einstein's Alley and Shau-wai Lam, Chairman and CEO of DCH Auto Group, South Amboy, NJ received the Caspar Wistar Award for Growth sponsored by Morris County Chamber

Law of United Healthcare received the Partnerships Builder Award from CMP (Chinatown Manpower Project) at the Bridge to Success Gala event in recognition of his professional accomplishments as well as his contribution to New York’s Asian communities.  Chris has been very supportive of CMP and its mission of helping immigrants find jobs and achieve economic self-sufficiency.
