Somerset, NJ – K. Peter Yu, P.E., President of Yu & Associates, Inc., an engineering firm specializing in geotechnical, environmental and civil engineering, has been elected to the Board of Directors of New Jersey Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce (NJCACC). For his professional, entrepreneurial and civic achievements, Peter has been honored with a Plaque for Outstanding Performance and Service to the US Department of Transportation in 2004, the 2008 Most Outstanding Asian American from the Chinese Community Award from the Asian American Heritage Council, the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award from the Asian American Business Development Center in 2008 and the Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurship Award from New Jersey Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce in 2008. In addition to his business achievements, Peter is also an active member of OCA-NJ, a civil rights advocacy and education organization.
